This is the first time that I have engaged with all St. Peter’s activities during Holy week and it has been an immense privilege to share in the gifts and talents of our people, and I thank everyone for their offering and sharing.

When things are this busy, and we are all trying our best to give of our best, (even for the glory of God) things can get a little tetchy at times.  Imagine what Jesus’ followers must have felt seeing him nailed to a cross.

It’s all right for us in the modern world because we are privileged to know the ending and what happens on Easter Day.  They had no such indication, so how must they have felt.

Having said that, it felt a little like being at the funeral of Jesus in our Good Friday service.  Perhaps it is just the tiredness kicking in.

Still, it will make Easter Sunday EVEN BETTER.
